Eguchi Takuya (江口 拓也, born May 22, 1987) is a Japanese seiyuu and singer from Ibaraki Prefecture. In 2012, he won the Best Rookie Actor at the 6th Seiyuu Awards alongside Matsuoka Yoshitsugu. He is the voice of multiple lead characters in popular anime such as Takeo Goda in My Love Story!! (2015), Hachiman Hikigaya in My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected (2013+), Yoshiharu Sagara in The Ambition of Oda Nobuna (2012), and Kazuya Kojo in Gosick (2011). He also plays main roles in many other popular anime like Akihiko Kaji in Given (2019), Kaoru Hanayama in Baki (2018), Tatsumi Kyoudai Ani in Juni Taisen: Zodiac War (2017), Nero Vanetti in 91 Days (2016), Tomoya Matsunaga in Rainbow Days (2016), and Ichijo Ryoma in Love Stage!! (2014). Although he is not known for solo singer activities he is in many male idol group anime like Tsukipro and the seiyuu idol unit IDOLiSH7 (2015+) related to the mobile game and anime of the same name. He is part of the the seiyuu idol unit A3ders! (with Sakai Koudai, Sawashiro Chiharu, and Tamaru Atsushi) related to the anime A3! Season Spring & Summer (2020) based on the music game A3!.
