Hanae Natsuki (花江 夏樹, born June 26, 1991) is a Japanese seiyuu from Kanagawa Prefecture. In 2015, he won Best Rookie Actor at the 9th Seiyuu Awards alongside Osaka Ryota and Saito Soma. In 2017, he won Best Personality award at the 11th Seiyu Awards. In 2020, he won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 14th Seiyuu Awards. In 2020, he won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 14th Seiyu Awards. In 2023, he won the Influencer Award at the 17th Seiyuu Awards. He is one of the most successful seiyuu active since 2010. He has averaged at least 4 main series roles a year since 2013.
In 2020, Hanae started occasionally appearing as guest roles in live-action TV dramas. In 2021, he portrayed a mangaka in 2 episodes of Oh My Boss! Love Not Included (2021) starring Kamishiraishi Mone, model/actress Nanao, and idol/actor Tamamori Yuta.
On January 27, 2022, the Across Entertainment agency announced he had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Biography[]
He entered workforce while in high school. He thought about his career, but decided to be a voice actor after watching Ouran High School Host Club. He joined Across Entertainment in November 2009. Hanae debuted in 2011 and had his first leading role as Maeda "Wien" Atsuhiro in Tari Tari and was credited as a composer in episode 5 and 12. He also played lots of popular roles such as Kaneki Ken (Tokyo Ghoul), Kousei Arima (Your lie in April), Haise Sasaki (Tokyo Ghoul:re), and the newest Kamado Tanjiro (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). He also won Most Popular Voice Actor of the Year at the 42nd Anime Grand Prix. Hanae and another seiyuu, Osaka Ryota hosted the radio show ŌHana (逢坂市立花江学園, Ōsaka Shiritsu Hanae Gakuen). On August 27th, 2016, Hanae announced that he had married a woman who is five years older than him. He began being a Youtuber in March 2019 and had about 500K subscribers 7 months later. Until November 2020, his channel amassing over 1,800,000 subscribers. On September 20th, 2020, Hanae announced that he had recently become a dad to fraternal twin girls.

Trivia[]
- Hanae really loves cats. He is a "father" of two cats, Konpei (male ginger cat) and Miso (female ginger cat).
- He used to use contact lenses when he was younger, but it didn't suit him so he used glasses. Hanae had an eye vision correction surgery in late September 2016, so now he just wears glasses for fun.
- Hanae is really weird when he's drunk. He shouted "woaaaah" when he saw a things like "UFO" in Osaka Ryota's house, eating houseplants, going into the bathtub with socks, and crying a lot.
- His family name Hanae is a pseudonym. His real family name wasn't announced by his agency, Across Entertainment.
