Hayashi Coco (林 鼓子, Hayashi Koko, born May 15, 2002) is a Japanese seiyuu, singer, and former child actor from Shizuoka Prefecture.
On March 25, 2023, the Love Live! official website announced she would be replacing Kusunoki Tomori in the role of Setsuna Yūki/Nana Nakagawa and becoming a member of the seiyuu idol unit Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (2023+) which is the main third generation unit of the the Love Live! mixed media franchise and its subunit A·ZU·NA (2019 to 2023) with both related to the anime Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (2020+). Her first portrayal of Setsuna Yūki/Nana Nakagawa was in the OVA Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club: Next Sky (OVA 2023) released on June 23, 2023.
On April 9, 2023, she was announced as getting a main role as Shīna Taki, the drummer in the new seiyuu idol band (bandol) MyGO!!!!!, as part of the 4th season anime of the BanG Dream! mix media project.
After being represented by 81 Produce from 2016 through the end of March 2023, she very briefly became a freelancer, but signed with Mitt Management on June 2, 2023.
Music career[]
Edit to right of the section title.She was a founding member of the seiyuu idol trio Run Girls, Run! (2017+; with Atsugi Nanami and Morishima Yuuka) initially related to the anime Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter (2017). As of March 31, 2023, Run Girls, Run! disbanded.
She was introduced as the drummer for the bandol MyGO!!!! at their first standalone concert for that took place on July 3, 2022. Starting on November 9, 2022, they released 14 character songs through November 1, 2023. Of the character songs, 2 were the OP/ED and 5 others were insert songs for the anime BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! (2023).
She officially joined the seiyuu idol unit Nijigasaki High School Idol Club on April 1, 2023.
