Kuwashima Hōko (桑島 法子, born December 12, 1975) is a Japanese seiyuu and singer from Iwate Prefecture. During her career she has been one of the most successful seiyuu starting around the year 2000 and was a top seiyuu for the decade after that. She is mostly known for taking over as Yuki "Nova" Mori in Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato (2012+) from Ichiryusai Harumi, portraying Itsuki "Cure Sunshine" Myōdōin in Pretty Cure Heartcatch (2010+), Chizuru Yukimura in Hakuoki ~Demon of the Fleeting Blossom~ (2010+), Presea Combatir in Tales of Symphonia (2010+), Tomoyo Sakagami in Clannad (2007), Miyako Miyazaki in Bamboo Blade (2007), Yūko Amasawa in Cyber Coil (2007), Clare "Claire" in Claymore (2007), Fuyuki Hinata in Sergeant Frog (2004+), Megumi Minami in Detective School Q (2003), Kagura in Azumanga Daioh (2002), Quon Kisaragi in RahXephon (2002+), Sango in InuYasha (2000+), Marlene Angel in Blue Gender (1999+), and Yurika Misumaru in Martian Successor Nadesico (1996).
