Ito Ayasa (伊藤 彩沙) is a Japanese seiyuu and singer from Kyoto Prefecture. She is the keyboardist of the seiyu idol band Poppin'Party which is the main unit of the BanG Dream! mixed media franchise. She is a member seiyuu idol unit Starlight Kukugumi (aka Starlight Kuku Gumi) related to the Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight mixed media franchise.

Music career[]

In early 2015, she joined the Bushiroad-produced (who produced the Detective Opera Milky Holmes franchise that Ayasa was already part of), but yet unnamed, seiyuu idol band that performed a concert of mostly anime cover songs. The band was not official formed until 2016 when it gained all its members and was announced formally as Poppin'Party which released its debut single Yes! BanG_Dream! (the only original song in the initial concert). With Poppin'Party, Ayasa achieved impressive success as the band released 21 singles from 2016 to 2024, only one of which did not make the Oricon top 40 singles chart, only two others did not make the top 20, and 11 reaching the top 10. Two singles, Initial (イニシャル) and Photograph, released in January of 2020 and 2021 both reached #1. During the same time period they released 2 mini-albums and 13 albums (8 of which were cover song collections) only 2 of which did not reach the top 10 of the Oricon album charts and BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Cover Collection Vol. 4 (バンドリ! ガールズバンドパーティ! カバーコレクション Vol.4; 2020) reached #1. Two of their non-cover song albums, Poppin'on! (2019) and Breakthrough! (2020), reached #4 and #3 respectively, and their mini-albums Live Beyond!! (2021) and Seishun To Be Continued (2023) reached #10 and #9 respectively.

With Poppin'Party, she has participated in over a dozen solo lives with several others being with other Bushiroad and usually Bandori bands. They have also performed over 24 tie-in songs for anime and video games, most of which were for the BanG Dream! anime franchise, but also included songs for the Future Card Buddyfight anime franchise (2018+), the Remake Our Life! anime (2021), and the The Fruit of Evolution anime (2021).

She was a member of the seiyuu idol unit STARTails☆ (active only in 2018?) related to the Slow Start anime series. She was also a former member of Milky Holmes Feathers and Milky Holmes Sisters (main group plus Feathers) related to the Detective Opera Milky Holmes media franchise.
