Sato Satomi (佐藤 聡美) is a Japanese seiyuu and singer from Miyagi Prefecture. In 2010, she won Best Musical Performance with the music group Hōkago Tea Time at the 4th Seiyuu Awards. In 2011, she won Best Rookie Actress in a Supporting Role at the 5th Seiyuu Awards alongside Kanemoto Hisako. She is a member of the seiyuu idol unit TRIPLE BOOKING (2010+) related to the Seitokai Yakuindomo (2010+) anime franchise.
She married Terashima Takuma in 2017. On December 30, 2021, she and her husband announced on their official blogs she gave birth to her first child.
Music career[]
She is well-known for her role of Ritsu Tainaka in the anime K-ON! (2009+) where she sung under the seiyuu idol unit Sakurakō K-ON Bu (2009) and the seiyuu idol band Hōkago Tea Time (2009 to 2012) after that with a reunion appearance at Animelo Summer Live 2019.
She was a member of the seiyuu idol unit Petit Rabbit's (2014 to 2021) related to the anime Is the Order a Rabbit? (2014+). She was a member of the mixed seiyuu idol unit Jigoku no Sata All Stars (2017 to 2018) related to the anime Hōzuki's Coolheadedness (2014+). She was a member of the seiyuu idol unit totomono (2012-only?) related to the PSP game New Sword, Magic, and School Stuff.: School of Time (Shin Ken to Mahō to Gakuen Mono.: Toki no Gakuen; 2012).
