Japanese dubbing

Example of Japanese Dubbing, from Episode 7 of Sore ga Seiyuu

Welcome to the Seiyuu Wiki!

Voice acting in Japan is acting as a narrator, an actor in radio plays, or as a character in anime, drama CDs, video games, and visual novels. It also involves performing voice-overs for non-Japanese movies and television programs.

Voice actors are commonly referred to as the Japanese term, seiyuu (声優) or the term CV (Character voice). Aside from dubbing, voice actors also commonly participate in 'seiyuu events', occasional acting (commercials, theater, and TV), master of ceremonies (MC), radio shows, and singing.
