Takagaki Ayahi (高垣 彩陽, Takagaki Ayahi, born October 25, 1985) is a Japanese seiyuu, singer, and stage actress from Tokyo. She is a member of the female idol singing group Sphere.

On August 23, 2019, it was announced that she had married a person who was a staff member involved with her live shows. On May 30, 2022, she announced on her blog that she was pregnant with birth expected in the fall. On October 21, 2022, she announced on her official blog that she had given birth.

Music career[]

She started her career by making the finals of the "Music Ray'n Super Voice Actor Audition" held from 2005 to 2006. All the 4 members of Sphere were in the finals with Takagaki being in a group with Tomatsu Haruka and the other two members, Kotobuki Minako and Toyosaki Aki, being in another group. They debuted as a seiyuu idol unit in 2009. With Sphere, she has released 22 singles from 2009 to 2019 with only the most recent not making the top 20 of the Oricon singles charts by just missing at #21 (「Sign」, 2019). Half the singles made it to the top 10 with 「Pride on Everyday」 (2012) and 「Eternal Tours」 (2014) peaking at #6. They have released 5 albums, all of which made the top 20 Oricon album charts and the middle 3 reaching the top 10 with 2012's Third Planet peaking at #3. They have perfromed 19 anime tie-in songs, several game tie-in songs, and a few TV drama tie-ins. They have performed 19 one-man lives, even more joint lives, and many other events.

As successful as she has been with Sphere, she has also had a successful solo career which started a year later in 2010. As a solo artist, she has release 12 singles, all of which made the top 40 Oricon singles charts with most making the top 20 (all but 2) and 2015's 「Rebirth-day」 peaking at #10. She has released 2 albums which reached #8 and #25 on the Oricon album charts repectively. She released 4 mini-albums of covers with the first 3 making the top 40 Oricon album charts and the last barely missing at #41. In April 2021, she released a best album that reach #33 on the Oricon album charts. She has performed 7 anime tie-in songs and a few game tie-ins. She has performed over 120 character songs! She has held 10 one-man lives with abotu a dozen joint lives.
