Music career[]
She started her career by making the finals of the "Music Ray'n Super Voice Actor Audition" held from 2005 to 2006. All the 4 members of Sphere were in the finals with Tomatsu being in a group with Takagaki Ayahi and the other two members, Kotobuki Minako and Toyosaki Aki, being in another group. They debuted as a seiyuu idol unit in 2009. With Sphere, she has released 22 singles from 2009 to 2019 with only the most recent not making the top 20 of the Oricon singles charts by just missing at #21 (「Sign」, 2019). Half the singles made it to the top 10 with 「Pride on Everyday」 (2012) and 「Eternal Tours」 (2014) peaking at #6. They have released 5 albums, all of which made the top 20 Oricon album charts and the middle 3 reaching the top 10 with 2012's Third Planet peaking at #3. They have perfromed 19 anime tie-in songs, several game tie-in songs, and a few TV drama tie-ins. They have performed 19 one-man lives, even more joint lives, and many other events.
While not quite as successful as with Sphere, she has had a very successful solo career as well.
