Uesaka Sumire (上坂 すみれ) is a Japanese seiyuu and singer from Kanagawa Prefecture. In 2016, she won Best Rookie Actress at the 10th Seiyuu Awards alongside Takahashi Rie and Tanaka Aimi. In 2024, she won the Influencer Award at the 18th Annual Seiyu Awards.

She is a member of the seiyuu idol unit Pastel*Palettes (2017+) related to the BanG Dream! (2015+) mixed media project. She is a member of the seiyuu idol unit Plasmagica (2013+) related to the SHOW BY ROCK!! (2013+) mixed media project.

On December 19, 2022, she announced in her 31st birthday livestream that the Max Factory company was making a figma (PVC action figure) based on her. This is possibly the first figma based on a seiyuu.

  • She was scouted by Space Craft Entertainment's Junior division at age 9 and became a child actor with her first appearance in a Vidal Sassoon commercial. She decided to become a seiyuu around age 20 (2011).
  • She majored in the Russian language at Sophia University (in Tokyo) and graduated in 2014.
  • She is known as a Russophile with a great interest in Russian culture as well as the former Soviet Union.
    • One of her first roles was in the anime Girls und Panzer where she played a Russian tank commander/gunner and sang an insert song (with Hisako Kanemoto) in Russian for the show.
  • Her agency, Voice Kit (株式会社ボイスキット, Kabushikigaisha boisukitto), did not appear to have a public website until 2022.
