Yamaguchi Mitsuo (山口光雄, born May 23, 1956), better known by his stage name Yamaguchi Kappei (山口勝平), is a Japanese seiyuu from Fukuoka Prefecture. In 2019, he won the Kei Tomiyama Memorial Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards. He mostly known for portraying the titular Inuyasha of InuYasha (2000+), but almost equally well-known as the male voice for Ranma Saotome in Ranma ½ (1989+). He also portrays some very well-known supporting characters such as the adult version of Conan Edogawa, Shinichi Kudo, and the antagonist Kaito Kuroba (also he MC of the shorter Magic Kaito series), in the long running Detective Conan (1996) anime series as well as Usopp in One Piece (1999+).
